We have a big middle school performance of Suessical (a Dr. Suess production) next week. Right now, I'm not so sure we'll have such a good performance. Some people aren't really with it, and don't feel that acting is for them. I just pray that all goes well, and we have a great performance. And for those of you intrested...

My Dog

We just got a new dog a little over a month ago. We already had 2 and we wouldn't have gotten the new one (Brutus) if we hadn't been rescuing him. Anyway, at first we had to break up some dog fights, but right now everything looks to be okay. The biggest problem is that he is a young dog, and unlike our 12 and 15 year old can jump on things and get into things fairly easily. I just ask for prayers of continued "friendship" between the dogs and also that we can get Brutus trained well enough to behave in the house so that he won't have to be in his cage so much. Thanks for the prayers.

A really good friend

Becca, a friend from school almost lost her mom about a week ago. She went into a coma, I don't know for how long. She has a neck condition, and is NOT doing well at all. I am one of Becca's best friends, and care for her mom a lot. I pray that God will be by Becca's side as she goes through this hard time. I also pray for her mom, as it doesn't look very good. PLEASE GOD! BE WITH THEM!!

For those who went to the junior high retreat last year, you know that the power went out. Although it was fun staying in a hotel, i just pray that this year we will get lucky and get to stay in the cabins.

The Watson Family

Gina Watson died of Leukemia today (Friday November 2nd, 2008) and her son was one of my friends. She had an amazing life and was a very kind and spirited Mom. I can't imagine how hard it must be for them. Even while in the hospital twenty-four seven, she had a sense of humor. Her family was sure she was going to recover. I pray that her family is happy that she is going to heaven. I pray that everything will be alright for them.

I just ask for prayers that everyone is able to get back into the routine of school fairly easily. It can be hard sometimes to get back into the swing of things after summer.

My Friend Jacqueline is very mad at the world right now. Her dad has head and neck cancer and is in South Carolina for radiation treatment. She sometimes seems like she can be mean, but I think she is just hurting inside. I'm asking for prayers for her and her dad.

My Grandma

As a few of you may know one of my grandmas died back in May of last year. That only leaves me with one grandparent left. I'm just asking prayers for her to stay healthy. At this point she is extremely healthy for her age and I want her to stay that way.Thanks.

Jeff is not doing well. As many of you know, Jeff is a 6th grader who has been coming to Jr High YF and mission trips off and on for the last year and a half. He is battling brain cancer and really needs your prayers!
